I made this beautiful cutting board with reclaimed black walnut and cherry wood. I love these colors together! The edges on this board are sharp and the juice grooves are mellow. This board will look great in your kitchen.
This board is 12" x 9.5" x 1.5" and is end grain orientation. End grain orientation is ideal because the fibers of the grain absorb impact of knives better than face grain. This will also keep your knives sharp longer and the board will be subject to less knife damage. I use a high-quality finish on all my products, this will prevent scratches and resist water.
